In addition to the weekly collection, we are now focusing on the go-fund-me page which can be accessed through the parish website: corpuschristilawrence.com. Let your family and friends who have/had some connection to the parish know about this campaign. Remember that October is traditionally “grand annual” month. We also have the online giving program WeShare with TD Bank to receive your weekly offering. It’s an easy and convenient way to save time and support the church. Donating is simple, safe and completely secure.
I know I may sound like a broken record, but the ten weeks without a weekly collection, and the cancellation of our parish fair, obviously impacted our finances. We do have some savings but not enough to cover our indebtedness, e.g. loan from the Archdiocese for the new furnace in the rectory. We are in need of all the help you can give. Many of you have contributed generously-thank you.
WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?
His good news is indeed the pearl of great price, freely given. The better question might be “What would Jesus not do?” He would not have the plumber here for eight days to work on the church furnace. He would not pay for heat and electricity, telephones/ computers, property insurance, for employees’ salaries, health insurance, social security etc.

This annual appeal in benefit of the Archdiocese of Boston, continues through the end of the year. As of October 26th, 133 Corpus Christi parishioners, individuals/households, have pledged $15,461 or 56% of our parish assessment: $27,511! Thank you
